Perfect Peace

Scripture:
You will keep in perfect peace
him whose mind is steadfast,
because he trusts in you
Isaiah 26:3

Observation:
I am often reminded that true peace is not the absence of conflict, but rather the ability to face any conflict sustained by the presence of God.   Jesus told is in this world we would have trouble but he said “Don’t be afraid for I have overcome the world.”   Whatever you are facing today, don’t allow it to steal your peace.   Think back over the past how many times God has brought you through difficult situations that you wondered if you would ever make it through.
Secondly that perfect peace was promised to those who mind is stayed on God, or steadfast.  Once we give our problems to him, don’t pick them up again, but leave them in his hand.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father I am so thankful for your peace, that in the middle of my storm you are there measuring the trial guaranteeing my outcome.   You have promised to care for me as you do the lilies of the field.  Today I rest in that peace and give you thanks for your provision.
